Additional Comments: 6th scroll. This scroll was accepted on behalf of the recipient by Baron Sir Muirdoch, then-landed Baron of An Dubhaigheainn. In May 2001, His Excellency's home burned down, and most of its contents were destroyed - fortunately no-one but the pets were hurt. Unfortunately, I didn't discover this scroll was destroyed until April, 2002. At which point I requested the assignment again, and was granted a second chance to re-do this piece with more quality in mind.
The Rich Art stuff really didn't work for me. It didn't even come out looking like copper, and I honestly Did Not Like It.
Below is the "make-up" scroll, done in holbein watercolor (gold), W&N
gouache, Speedball dip pen, Higgins Black Magic Ink, pencil, t-square,
ruler, and compass, all on Arches 140#.
